Fantasy League: The new season is nearly ready for kick off!
Nearly there. The Premier League season kicks off this Friday night, with reigning champions Arsenal hosting Frank Lampard’s Coventry at the Emirates. Deep breaths, everyone.
Supersubs — don’t get caught out
For Legend leagues, Supersubs have been live for over a week now, so there’s no excuse for forgetting on kickoff night. Get them set, request that confirmation email, and save yourself the Monday morning panic.
Retrospective points — the rule still stands
Same as ever: no confirmation email, no retrospective points adjustment. And it needs to come via your chair first — we won’t wave anything through without their nod. Not because we’re being difficult, but because every league has its own local rules, and frankly, we can’t keep up with all of them 🙂
European places — chairs, this one’s on you
We’ve opened European entries early this season, so you can sort your entries for the Champions league and Europa Cups straight after your auction.
Chairs, please make sure those spots don’t sit empty — you’ll find them under League Settings > European Places.
If you are new to Fantasy League this year? Europe will have to wait until next season, but there’s plenty to be enjoying this season first.
Head to Head — for a bit of extra chaos
Fancy stirring things up outside your main league? H2H is where the real grudges live! Start dates depend on league size, so check your league number against the dates below.

The App (continued!)
As mentioned previously, the app will not be supported this season. We are currently evaluating a suitable alternative and will provide updates over the coming weeks.
Manual Assist & where to find us
Manual Assists commence from Friday night, business as usual. We’re easing off blasting every update everywhere though — X/Twitter and Facebook will be your best bet for updates, alongside the news page here. Full Manual Assist award round-ups and Team of the Week will both land on the news section, as always.
Continue to spread the word
We still reckon Fantasy League has the best community in fantasy football, full stop. If you can help us shout about it, we’d be properly grateful. The aim is to produce a news artcile every week on this page
As ever, huge thanks for being part of Fantasy League — we’ll keep doing our best to make it the best game around.
Cheers, Neil, Fred, Graham and Andrew.
