Sunday 4/2/24-Arsenal vs Liverpool-The opener scored by Saka, after Havertz assisted by shooting and the keeper saving his effort, for the Liverpool goal, assist to Luis Diaz who crossed for Gabriel to palm it into his own net.

For Martinelli’s goal, no assist is awarded. The manual assist panel reviewed this very carefully and concluded that the final touch before Martinelli came off Alisson’s boot (at the second, swipe).
The initial bounce deceives Alisson. But the deflected touch impacts the ball enough to change its speed and remove the need for Martinelli to add a first controlling touch, under our rules, this removes the manual assist.
