The upcoming weekend sees a busy block of fixtures kicking off on Friday 27th February with Wolverhampton Wanderers entertaining Aston Villa, before a full programme on Saturday 28th February. That includes AFC Bournemouth hosting Sunderland at the Vitality Stadium, Liverpool taking on West Ham United, Newcastle United against Everton, and Leeds United facing Manchester City at Elland Road. The action continues into Sunday 1st March with fixtures such as Brighton & Hove Albion vs Nottingham Forest, Fulham hosting Spurs, Manchester United vs Crystal Palace, and a huge London clash as Arsenal welcome Chelsea to the Emirates.

Arsenal looked very good against Spurs, perhaps Saka’s new role will open up further assist opportunities, his return this season has been (if I’m honest) a little disappointing. Manchester City organisation at the back seems a little more consolidated reecently with Ait-Nouri. Liverpool’s back line of VD and Konate are finally looking a little more like the defensive backline that secured the title last season. Conversely, sides like Sunderland have struggled for defensive consistency, which has shown a clear drop off in defending assets for FL teams. Couple of games I like the look of for points this coming GW, are United v Palace, Sesko, Mbemo etc. Fulham v Spurs, Jimenez bagged a brace last week.

Additionally van den Berg is also awarded an assist for Brentfords thord goal, after his header results in a goal line clearance before Schade scores. There is no double assist, as the last touch before Schade scores is not from his own player.
Manchester United v Crystal Palace 1st March 2026 – Cunha for United penalty.
Arsenal v Chelsea 1st March 2026 – James gets the assist for Arsenal OG.
