No 12:30 kick off on Saturday, giving the support team a lie in 😉 No seriously, we are looking forward to a great Saturday/Sunday split of fixtures. Three 3PM Kick off on Saturday and three 14:00 kick offs on Sunday.
Brighton and Everton players are increasing in teams again, will Barry be on the scoresheet again? Keane also returns to the Everton ranks, after completing his 3 match ban. For Grealish owners, or at least those who still have him, its time to move him on, sounds like its season over.
Leeds take on league leaders Arsenal, Arteta is looking at increasing squad sizes, can they recover from a surprise loss to United last weekend at a very tough Elland Road. Will Eze start this weekend? Nmecha isn’t available this weekend for Leeds. Will DCL’s amazing goal return continue?
Wolves v Bournemouth – I fancy a Wolves win here, last week, I called out the Bournemouth win against Liverpool, I have a feeling Wolves might do a Bournemouth, on Bournemouth! Rayan debut might scuttle that though!
Chelsea play a “in form” West Ham, winning their last two games, do we see Wolves putting some pressure on teams above ? Rosenior has had a very good start, Palmer looks to be back properly, Pedro also firing!. A tough call, but surely a home win for Chelsea?
Saturday finishes with the infamous 4-3 fixture, Liverpoiol v Newcastle. Miley have another one this weekend? I’d quite like to see a repeat of the classic Keegan games, but with both teams playing in Europe this week, anything can happen. Frimpong is out with an injury again for Liverpool, making that defensive right hand side a real troublesome position to fill. As for Newcastle, Bruno may make it. Suspect this won’t be as exciting as the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Sunday is full of craking games, Villa take on a fantastic Brentford side, with both sides in the top ten. Abraham returns to the Premier League too.
United take on Fulham, will Fulham be bobbing along after their new signing, or will he be rested for, what would be, a very quick return to Manchester. United on a hatrick on wins, but Dorgu is out for a while.
Forest versus Palace, could be an interesting one, Mateta bid in! Palace form has collapsed and a manager who is leaving at the end of the season, a dangerous statement, where is the motivation?
Spurs, after flying high in the champions league are back down to earth and face City, with the likes of Semenyo and Guehi returning to the starting lineup, it is one serious squad.
Monday finishes up at the Stadium of Light and a travelling Burnley come to entertain. Xhaka won’t be back this weekend. But Brobbey has been a popular addition to many Fantasy Leqague teams over this last week. Might he be the difference?
Awarded
Brighton v Everton 31st January 2026 – O’Brien shot parried by keeper, before Beto scores Evertons equaliser.
Chelsea v West Ham – 31st January 2026 – After a very long review, Delap, get the final touch which directly results in the rebound off the crossbar, which Cucurella then converts via a diving header.
Liverpool v Newcastle – 31st January 2026 – Again, after a very, very long review, Szoboszlai gets an assist after the keeper parry from his corner. Even though there was the tinest of brushes off Thiaw, we don’t believe this was significant enough not to award a manual assist.
Man United v Fulham – 1st February 2026 – Raul gets up to take his own penalty after being felled by Maguire. Thsi won’t appear onn the stats page, but will be reflected on your player points.
Villa v Brentford 1st February 2026 – Ajer picks up an assist due to our last pass to the goalscorer rule, long pass before Django Ouattara scores.
Sunderland v Burnley 2nd february 2026 – Diarra‘s shot is deflected into the goal.
Not Awarded
Leeds v Arsenal 31st january 2026 – No assist for Arsenal second goal, as per our goalkeeper parry rule, if the goalkeeper punches the ball away (regardless of how poor the punch is), no further assist is awarded.
UPDATE: Sunday 1st – The Premier League panel have now adjudicated that this was a Madueke goal, we updated our feed and this now shows Madueke as the goalscorer, not a Darlow OG, there is still no assist 🙂 but Madeuke owners will now pick up the goal points!
