The Premier League have their team; Troy Deeny has his. So here is ours!

However, ours is based on some points logic and a few more restrictions, no more than two from a team and it must be a valid FL formation. This season it’s a winning 443 formation or as many of you are likely to correct, a 4132 formation 😉

The standout scorer and the PFA player of the year is Salah, with a barnstorming season, supported up front by the goal king Isak and the ‘apparently’ soon to be joining Man United Mbeumo.

We’ve slotted a DMF (MacAllister) into Midfield, alongside Palmer and Bowen. Unlucky to not make the final team of the season from a Midfield perspective are quite a few, Murphy at Newcastle, Kluivert at Bournemouth, Rice as another DMF.

For the fullbacks, it became slightly easier, however, TTA misses out, as we have to select MacAllister and Salah, as better scoring options in their positions, so Guardiol, slots in, goals helped his total, Outtara was the golden nugget of the season, largely playing upfront whilst Evanilson, was either injured or banned!

Centrebacks, with the surprising season form of Forest, Milenkovic makes it into the CB partnership, alongside the ever-reliable Gabriel. Saliba and Van Dijk are both unlucky to miss out. Raya just pipped Ederson to the goalkeeper slot.

Overall total 647.

The biggest question is this, well actually its two questions, the first, how many players from the team of the season did you have? And secondly, how much would this team have cost at your auction, against your league budget.
