Chelsea vs Arsenal- this is the game to keep an eye on this weekend from an injury perspective. Rice,Havertz, and Merino could all join Calafiori and Sterling on the Gunners sidelines, while the home side sweat on Palmer and Sancho. If all the Arsenal doubts fail to make it, there would be a case to select Jesus, Jorginho and maybe Zinchenko. Newly added Nwaneri looks to have a larger role during the season than anticipated too. Over at Stamford Bridge, if the unthinkable happens and Cole Palmer can’t play, Enzo becomes an option- careful if you’re playing DMs although Arsenal are toiling to score at present. Maresca seems to favour Neto over Mudryk as the Sancho alternative-but neither have set the FL heather alight.

Elsewhere, in the search for Cleano points, those of you looking at Wolves need to be mindful of the GK situation- Johnstone is doubtful so Sa is likely to retain his place, and Van de Ven‘s likely continued absence and Romero’s (unlikely) possible injury means another run out for Dragusin who exists on many free agent lists. Finally in cleano world, Man U look to be popular but the fantasy squad is decimated for FBs and CBs with the back 4 picking itself due to the surprising continued loss of Shaw and Malacia, plus Maguire is still missing and Yoro not quite ready. DMs may be the way to go at OT, with Casemiro and Ugarte starting the last game (although the red card jeopardy can’t be ignored!)

Up front, as ever, check the coming 3-4 weeks of fixtures for your choices-it’s slim pickings ,but imminent return from injury for Pedro (Brighton) and Hwang (Wolves) may be worth a punt as their fixtures look promising for the next month or so, while a longer shot in deeper leagues could go to nearly fit Daka (Leicester) and -don’t laugh- Antony under a new manager bounce? Finally the Grealish dilemma raises its head again for after the break for those of you without a full Man City quota.

Good luck and have a great weekend’s footy!
