West Ham v Luton – For Ward Prowse goal, Burke flicked it on to change direction after goalkeeper parry, this flick on pushed ball into path of Ward Prowse, who scored. No MA for initial cross, the additional touch by the defender removes the manual assist.
Newcastle v Brighton-Following a detailed review by the manual assists panel, no assist is awarded to Welbeck for Veltman’s goal vs Newcastle. His header comes off the defender’s back, the spin on the ball is altered, and by our rules this negates the assist
