There were no angles from behind the goal, either on SKY or BBC. Having reviewed all angles available and in slow mo, our view is that without the deflection, the ball would have been cleared by Luton 29 (Bell). Therefore the deflection altered the angle of the ball significantly enough to take it away from Bell and into the path of Amdouni. So no assist is awarded.
