Watkin – After it hit the post, it was then headed by a Southampton defender before Ramsey turned it in
Gibbs-White – His corner was an outswinger, and when Yates got his head on it, it changed the direction of the ball towards the goal, where the striker was then able to nod it in. Without Yates’ header, the ball would not have reached the striker. Therefore no assist is awarded to the corner taker.
Trippier – We don’t award assists for Handball penalities, unless they are on the penalty line.
