At long last, the Premier League opening weekend is upon us. The intra-season window was compressed from two months into one putting all sorts of pressures on everyone involved in the sport of football (including us at the FL as you all know), but we seemed to have gotten there in one piece.
Many of you have had your 20/21 auctions (Some league opt to have auctions a few games into the season which is always fine. Those managers get a peek at the early form of the players, but they do miss out on the points scored during the missed games). In fact, the Thame Lads League (TLL) have shared a documentary video about their recent auction (with a few insider tips in the manager interviews).
We thank the many beta testers who helped thoroughly QA the new FL app which is now with Apple and Google for certification (and we thank TLL for “forgiving those who delay the app” in your OBC prayer). We will announce here as soon as we are notified that it is available for download (hopefully next week).
