It’s taken a while, but is a divide finally appearing in the Premier League?
The form table would seem to suggest that the top 11 sides are pretty set for the rest of the season.
Looking at the last five games for the bottom nine sides – so 45 games in total – there have been just eight wins (17%!) among them.
Does that stat affect your willingness to stock your squads with players from those teams?
Of those sides, only two won last weekend – and for Crystal Palace, it was a huge three points as they narrowly saw off Newcastle.
It was their first win in the league since Boxing Day – a run of eight games that saw them slide down the table.
But in Patrick van Aanholt – who scored the winner on Saturday, his third goal of the season – they have someone who could net you some good returns before the end of the season.
Joining him down the left in the next few weeks could be the returning Jeffrey Schlupp, who also has two goals and two assists from just 10 Fantasy League appearances this season.

There’s a new King in town. And that man – at the top of the Fantasy League individual player rankings having overtaken the stalling Jamie Vardy – is Trent Alexander-Arnold.
It’s frankly mental that a full-back has done this, and after another sensational performance against West Ham on Monday, his radical reinterpretation of the right-back role has been likened – in perhaps the ultimate compliment – to Dani Alves.
He now has 64 points – comprised of two goals, 13 assists and 11 clean sheets – and he may be taking some of you managers to your own league titles by himself…
